Red Snapper Kill in the Gulf of Mexico by the federal government is starting to get out of hand. A federal mandate to remove old, abandoned oil and gas rigs in the Gulf of Mexico is blowing up a lot more than just the rigs.
Undercover video obtained by Local 15 shows thousands of pounds of dead fish, mostly red snapper, floating to the surface after one of the controversial demolitions in the Gulf. The confidential source who provided the video estimated 10,000 pounds of fish, mostly red snapper, were killed after that one demolition.

Here is the video, whats your opinion on this?

  1. Wow this is piss poor. Last summer red snapper season was open to recreational anglers in FL June 1 – July 31st with a limit of 2 snapper per person. I caught 2 legal red snapper in my 5 years in FL and threw one of them back because it was out of season.
