Below is a letter from Drew explaining a project he is working on to increase the nesting habitat for ducks in the area. RF will be donating money to Drew and his efforts to improve wildlife. Drew Kramer - Eagle Scout Project

Dear Fellow Sportsmen:

My name is Drew Kramer and I am an Eagle Scout candidate from Troop 1396 in northern Washington County. As part of my Eagle project my fellow scouts and I are building wood duck boxes to increase their nesting habitat. As part of this project I have teamed up with officers of the Pennsylvania Game Commission to design, place, document, and monitor the boxes and their use.

      I am seeking your participation in this project as well. My goal is to build and place at least fifty boxes in suitable habitats throughout the tri-state area. You can help me reach this goal through a monetary donation or purchase of boxes that I can place in a wood duck habitat of your choosing. Material cost of each box is $25.00 with labor donated by the scouts. Each box will be numbered and its GPS coordinates catalogued.
      Donations may be mailed to my address below with checks made payable to “Troop 1396 BSA.” To allow for timely placement and sufficient resting time prior to the Spring nesting season, please respond before October 1, 2009.
