After work trip to Montour Run. Found some stockies interested in glow bugs and a emerger.
Heavy heavy heavy traffic and pressure. Forrest Grove Sportsman Club has done a great job with stream enhancements. It’s a great place to take a kid fishing or those physically challenged with the access to the streams. It appears the sportsman club has added in some dams and bank enforcement to preserve the structure. The water was mostly low and clear with a bunch of trout. The heavy pressure on the trout makes it not ideal experience but I did see some kids catching fish.
Grew up fishing Montour run before its trout stocking days. It’s nice to see it evolve into a popular fishery. #pafishing
