Hit Nenshnock today late afternoon. Drove through Volant and parked by the rail road cars in town. Nice weather and mostly sunny day. The stream didn’t seem to be affected by all the rain this week.
Water clarity was great and flow was nice.
Low fishing pressure for the most part.
The water was low and clear enough I could sight fish and I didn’t see any smallmouth worth reporting or and no trout at all. Tons of minnows but no fish.
Caught a bunch of small smallmouth but overall disappointed.
