• PA Steelhead Assoication – The PSA is a 501(C)4 nonprofit which works to: enhance and preserve the fishery in the streams flowing into Lake Erie; to improve access to those streams for fishermen; and to assist organizations such as the Western PA Conservancy in acquiring land and/or fishing easements and right-of-ways along important Steelhead fishing waters in Northwest Pennsylvania.
• Penn’s Woods West Chapter / Trout Unlimited – PWWTU is constantly working to protect and improve trout waterways in our area. We are presently engaged in a long-term project to make Pine Creek in Pittsburgh’s North Hills a blue ribbon trout fishery within just a 30-minute drive from downtown!

Watersheds

• Montour Run Watershed Association – MRWA has as its purpose the protection, remediation, and long-term stewardship of the Montour Run Watershed. This includes land, water, and biological resources of the watershed, as we strive to make the Montour Valley healthier for all its residents. We accomplish our goals through formal and informal partnerships with citizens groups, businesses, local governmental agencies, elected officials, and the general public. The MRWA actively conducts watershed assessment projects, public outreach and education projects, and stream improvement projects.
