Hit the Ohio River out of the Killbuck ramp yesterday around noon till 4pm. It wasn’t an ideal time of day to fish the waters but I wanted to get the boat out and run around the rivers and throw a few lines. Fished the Killbuck dam up into the back channel of Nevile and around Sewickley bridge. Fishing was slow and the fish were sluggish. I had mostly minnow patterns with live and plastics. Caught one smallie near the Killbuck dam and that was it. The water temps were hovering around 69 deg which I which I was surprised. I thought I would see something colder with the much colder nights we have been having.
Fall fishing is here and will improve so I hope to have some better days coming soon. There was alot of pressure around the mouth of Montour Run but I didnt see much action.
